We invite you to join us for a peer-to-peer exchange, "Planning for Climate Change from the Field."
Land trusts across the country are using strategic land protection for climate change. Join us for a webinar, co-hosted by Open Space Institute and the Land Trust Alliance to hear how four land trusts incorporated new climate science into their conservation plans and discuss opportunities, challenges, and needs to accelerate this work. Through brief presentations from Lakes Region Conservation Trust (NH), Minnesota Land Trust (MN), New River Land Trust (VA), and Upstate Forever (SC), you will learn about the questions they sought to answer with their planning, the methods they used, and the challenges and lessons they learned along the way. Share what you are doing, exchange thoughts, and let us strengthen the resiliency of the communities we work in together.
