Workshop: Staying Above Water: Land Protection in a Changing Coastal Zone

Are you looking to…

  • Understand where to protect coastal land in the face of rising sea levels and storm surges?
  • Learn which salt marshes will continue to support plants and animals as the climate changes?
  • Gain experience with online mapping tools and help prepare for these changes?

Join us for this workshop at the Maine Maritime Museum, 243 Washington Street in Bath, with Mark Anderson, Director of Conservation Science at The Nature Conservancy. This workshop is presented jointly by Land Trust Alliance, Open Space Institute, The Nature Conservancy, New Hampshire Land Trust Coalition, Maine Coast Heritage Trust, and NH Extension.

This workshop is free but pre-registration is required. To register, contact Donna at [email protected] or 207-607-4577.  For more information, click here.
