In 2017, our accomplishments were big, not only in terms of acreage, but also in terms of our impact on people and on the land they need and love.
We helped protect more than 22,000 acres on the eastern seaboard; multiplied our impact by educating more than 980 people on integrating climate- and water-based science into land conservation; and built or improved 20 miles of public trails.
Read more about our successes last year, including expanding access to the Adirondack High Peaks by creating alternative access points, celebrating the spirit of citizen action, and helping to protect more than 60,000 acres along the Appalachian Trail, in the 2017 OSI Annual Report.
