Once home to an ancient Mississippian civilization and their descendants -- the Muscogee Creek people -- the Ocmulgee River spans 17,000 years of Native American culture. Today, with funding support from the Land & Water Conservation Fund, OSI is joining forces to further protect this threatened landscape and the history it holds.
